About Jen
It has been an honor and a privilege to represent Ward 6 on the Council for the past year and a half, and I am asking for your support as I seek reelection in November 2021.
During my first term, much of which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, my focus was centered on the safety of Melrosians, especially those in Ward 6. I successfully sponsored orders to alleviate fees on our local businesses and increase our affordable housing options, and served as city council president and chair of the legal and legislative committee.
As we move toward reopening and recovery from the pandemic, I continue to remain focused on our shared priorities as a city, as a neighborhood, and as a community. Over the coming weeks and months, I hope to connect virtually and/or in-person with as many residents and businesses as possible.
Melrose has a vibrant small business sector that deserves investment and continued support. We must ensure that our roads, infrastructure and city services safely and sustainably meet the needs of our families, seniors, commuters, pedestrians, and cyclists, while creatively working to address challenges like parking and congestion.
Let's get to work together for Ward 6!
